Chicago Homeless Outreach is a community of volunteers dedicated to bringing hope, dignity, compassion, and human connection to individuals experiencing homelessness throughout Chicago.
Founded and led by Leticia Andrade, our mission is simple: show up, serve with love, and be consistent.
On the third Saturday of every month, from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, volunteers come together to serve our Friends on the Street throughout Chicago. We distribute essential care packages, food, clothing, seasonal necessities, and other resources—but our outreach is about so much more than what we hand out.
We take the time to have conversations, learn names, listen to stories, offer encouragement, and remind people that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.
Families, friends, students, businesses, organizations, and community members of all backgrounds are welcome to serve alongside us. Whether it’s your first time volunteering or you join us month after month, there is a place for you at Chicago Homeless Outreach.
